We are a friendly and relaxed string orchestra based near Chippenham.
Inspiring, challenging yet relaxed string playing
We are an adult amateur string orchestra who meet to explore great string music in a supportive and fun environment. We welcome players of all experience levels, supporting those who are newer to their playing journey while stretching our highly experienced players.
We enjoy playing a wide variety of genres and composers, we organise relaxed and informal concerts, and we are proud to support local charities.

Strings Incognito performs 2-3 concerts per year, ranging from our trademark family-friendly events with tea & cake through to our annual formal candlelit concert.

Supporting charity through music
Each Strings Incognito concert raises money for a selected charity. We are proud that, to date, we have raised more than £7,000 through our music.
